ABOUT
David Krieff:
A Pioneer in Production, Entertainment and Marketing
David Krieff is renowned for his ability to develop blockbuster products, strategic campaigns, and exciting entertainment programming. He has collaborated with top media companies, including FOX, MTV, Showtime, ABC, CBS, NBC, ESPN, Disney, POP, TRUTV, Amazon, Paramount Pictures, Guthy-Renker, Lionsgate, Cosmobody.com, Hallmark, QVC, HSN, Leisure Marketing, Rodale Media, Target, Costco, Universal Studios, and Warner Brothers.
Krieff’s Los Angeles-based entertainment companies, Destiny Productions and Life’s A Beach, Inc., have successfully marketed and produced numerous media-based brands. This includes Krieff's own Pilates PRO Chair, the #1 selling apparatus for weight loss. Represented by the incomparable Susan Lucci, the Pilates PRO Chair is distributed via direct response TV on QVC and through retail stores, with over 1,000,000 chairs sold. Prior to this, Krieff designed and marketed Guthy-Renker’s #1-selling infomercial fitness brand, Malibu Pilates.
Uniquely, Krieff has developed a media marketing “machine” that accomplishes what no one else has been able to do under one roof: development, worldwide sourcing, celebrity endorsements, customer service, social media, targeted media ad buying, fulfillment, long and short-form infomercial production, retail distribution, and more. Krieff is able to create and produce infomercials and other promotional programming for less money with the same polished look of a multi-million dollar campaign.
Starting in the 1980s, Krieff forever changed attitudes toward aging with his immensely successful Silver Foxes brand. The line began with a 10X platinum Billboard #1-ranked fitness video, Richard Simmons and the Silver Foxes, featuring the fitness guru working out with the parents of superstars Sylvester Stallone, Al Pacino, Dustin Hoffman, Farrah Fawcett, and Richard’s own mom. The concept gained immense publicity, including a full hour on OPRAH, and spawned additional products, including marketing tie-ins with GNC and Century Village, and another fitness video series, Power Pilates with Stefanie Powers and the Silver Foxes. In 2018, The Silver Foxes returned with a new ensemble of celebrities. By combining broad media exposure, investors, and sponsorships with high-profile, creative programs and products that help millions of people worldwide, Krieff has carved a unique niche in the marketing and media arenas.
Krieff is also recognized for his live events and television programming, including his recent multi-season reality series, "Bait Car," which airs on TRUTV and a cult hit on YouTube. Earlier, Krieff marketed the ground-breaking NBC TV drama series, "Miami Vice." He produced live and televised star-studded shows with Barry Gibb and the Bee Gees and originated and produced "The Battle of the Sexes": Connors vs. Navratilova, and a series of "Battle of the Sexes on Ice" specials, which aired on CBS and FOX, teamed with skating star and partner Scott Hamilton.
David Krieff currently has numerous entertainment programs in development with outstanding investment partners, talent, and major studios, including an upcoming musical theater production based on the popular 1980s TV series "Love Boat," teamed with The Nederlander Group, and "The 27 Club," with Burnett Music Group, bringing reality, music, and drama together.
David lives in Malibu, California with his family, beloved sons, and animals. He graduated from the University of Florida, #1 School of Journalism/Advertising/Broadcasting.
